About EngageAll

The EngageAll project aims to empower students at Professional Higher Education (PHE) institutions to participate in student engagement and civic activities, regardless of their background. It addresses the often-overlooked impact of student engagement on learning and the essential, transferable skills gained through these experiences.

Students like to get involved in students engagement and civic activities for a variety of reasons, to:

Enrich their overall student experience

Obtain key competences such as critical thinking, teamwork and active citizenship

Develop personally or professionally

These activities not only enhance students’ key competences, thereby enhancing their employability, but also deepen their understanding of societal issues and empower them to effect positive change.

EngageAll emphasises the crucial role of PHE institutions in fostering active citizenship and highlights the wide-ranging benefits of student involvement beyond academic study. This includes participation in institutional initiatives, local community projects, and activities addressing broader societal challenges.

With a focus on the unique and diverse student body within PHE, EngageAll addresses the specific challenges students face in balancing academic commitments with extracurricular activities.
